Outstanding mechanical properties

The density is 2.65 ~ 3.00g/cm3 and the tensile strength is 3300 ~ 4840mpa; The tensile strength, elastic modulus and elongation at break are higher than those of glass fiber, which has excellent wear resistance.

Excellent temperature resistance

The service temperature range of basalt fiber is: - 269 ℃ ~ 700 ℃; When working at 400 ℃ and 600 ℃, the fracture strength retention rate is ≥ 85% and ≥ 80% respectively; After 780 ~ 820 ℃ pretreatment, it can work at 860 ℃ without shrinkage.

Good chemical stability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance

K2O, MgO and TiO2 in the fiber significantly improve the chemical corrosion resistance and waterproof performance. The acidity coefficient of fiber is 4.86,    pH=0.34; At 2mol / L   After boiling in NaOH solution for 3 hours, the mass loss fraction was 0.0275%.

Good thermal shock resistance and stability

It can be used in 500 ℃ thermal vibration environment for a long time, and the mass loss is less than 0.02%,   At 900 ℃, the mass loss is only 0.03%.

It has excellent microwave absorption performance, and the microwave absorption performance can be further improved after surface modification of magnetic materials.

Excellent dielectric properties

The dielectric loss tangent of basalt fiber with volume resistivity greater than 1012 Ω· m and treated with special wetting agent is 50% lower than that of glass fiber, which can be used to manufacture new heat-resistant dielectric materials.

Sound absorption and heat insulation

It has excellent sound absorption and sound insulation performance, and its low frequency absorption coefficient and peak absorption coefficient are all higher than traditional sound absorbing foam, preoxygenation wire and so on. The thermal conductivity is more than 20% lower than that of glass fiber, which is much lower than that of rock wool and other thermal insulation materials.
