  Basalt fiber surface felt is a non-woven basalt fiber felt made of chopped basalt fiber, which is dredged and decomposed by wet forming process. It is a new type of high-performance reinforcement material. It has many excellent properties such as high strength, high modulus, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, insulation and so on.
 
  The unique production process of basalt fiber surface felt determines that its surface fiber has the characteristics of flat, uniform dispersion, good hand feeling, strong air permeability, strong adsorption and anti-static.
 
  Basalt fiber surface felt has the dual functions of glass fiber surface felt and carbon fiber surface felt. On the surface of composite products, it can not only form a resin rich layer with a resin content of more than 80%, so that the product surface has a bright and flat surface, but also improve the anti leakage and anti-corrosion ability of the product. The binder of basalt fiber surface felt has good compatibility with resin, which can improve the formability of special-shaped composites. It is also the preferred material for pultrusion and winding composites.

Outstanding mechanical properties

The density is 2.65 ~ 3.00g/cm3 and the tensile strength is 3300 ~ 4840mpa; The tensile strength, elastic modulus and elongation at break are higher than those of glass fiber, which has excellent wear resistance.

Excellent temperature resistance

The service temperature range of basalt fiber is: - 269 ℃ ~ 700 ℃; When working at 400 ℃ and 600 ℃, the fracture strength retention rate is ≥ 85% and ≥ 80% respectively; After 780 ~ 820 ℃ pretreatment, it can work at 860 ℃ without shrinkage.

Good chemical stability, acid and alkali corrosion resistance

K2O, MgO and TiO2 in the fiber significantly improve the chemical corrosion resistance and waterproof performance. The acidity coefficient of fiber is 4.86,    pH=0.34; At 2mol / L   After boiling in NaOH solution for 3 hours, the mass loss fraction was 0.0275%.

Good thermal shock resistance and stability

It can be used in 500 ℃ thermal vibration environment for a long time, and the mass loss is less than 0.02%,   At 900 ℃, the mass loss is only 0.03%.

Wave absorption and magnetic permeability

It has excellent microwave absorption performance, and the microwave absorption performance can be further improved after surface modification of magnetic materials.

Excellent dielectric properties

The dielectric loss tangent of basalt fiber with volume resistivity greater than 1012 Ω· m and treated with special wetting agent is 50% lower than that of glass fiber, which can be used to manufacture new heat-resistant dielectric materials.

Sound absorption and heat insulation

It has excellent sound absorption and sound insulation performance, and its low frequency absorption coefficient and peak absorption coefficient are all higher than traditional sound absorbing foam, preoxygenation wire and so on. The thermal conductivity is more than 20% lower than that of glass fiber, which is much lower than that of rock wool and other thermal insulation materials.

A series of high-strength and high modulus basalt fibers have been developed. The single fiber strength has exceeded 5800mpa and the fiber modulus has exceeded 100GPa.
